Importing HTML to your email node
We are going to learn how to import an external Html into the body of an email.
Many times you will be given an HTML ready to be used in your communications or in this case your Emails. To incorporate that HTML and include it within the body of the email, you are going to carry out the following steps:
- Locate the HTML that we want to import and copy the source code of the page (by right-clicking or control + command + click). Then, copy the entire page source code and return to the email on the platform.
- Now double-click on the email node to enter the editor. As the content is blank, I proceed to paste the HTML code by clicking on the button with the same name in the middle of the screen on the left. Once inside, I first delete the code that DanaConnect has put there by default and immediately proceed to paste the source code that I copied earlier on the other screen.
- To switch your view from code to image, click on the same button called HTML again. Once there, you can freely edit your template with new information – text and/or image that now belongs in your email. You can add simple text or labels (which we have taught you in other videos), add a greeting, or your corporate Logo.
