Adding links to your email
In this video, you will learn how to add a link to an email directly in the email node. We must first create our email node and open it for editing.
Before you continue, make sure you have the URL you want to upload at hand.
In this example, we have a template previously loaded and the fields are already filled. We only need to generate the links in the texts that you see here entitled LINK 1 and LINK 2. We will also create a link in the image.
First, edit the text where you will place the link with the proper name. For example, “BBC” replaces LINK 1. Once the text is updated, select it and click on the Link button located in the central toolbar. A window opens and in the space where it says URL, we paste the code. To the left of the URL field, you will find several protocols: http, https, ftp among others. DANAConnect recognizes a protocol and sets it by default once you paste the URL, but you can change the protocol as needed. Now click OK and your link is ready.
Repeat these steps for LINK 2.
In the case of the Image, we follow the same procedure. We select the image and click on the link button following the same steps. When finished, you can test by clicking the preview button in the central toolbar.
I remind you that you can do this same action in rich text messages.
